Diploma in Operation Theatre & Anaesthesia Technology (DOT & AT)
Duration: 3 years + Training
The course is designed to prepare the graduates to assume responsibility as professional, competent nurses and midwives in providing promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative services to all who needs nursing care.
The course aims at training candidates on Operations Theatre Technology program. This course prepares aspirants to work in the operation theatre as competent reliable technologists among the other team members of a healthcare department, under the supervision and guidance of senior doctors and Technical persons in their delivery of patient care.
Students learn the utilization of numerous diagnostic equipment for example Ventilators, monitors, Defibrillators, C-arm etc. and also patient assessment abilities. Training also concentrates on the knowledge and skills of monitoring infection control policy and procedures in the operation theatre.

Eligibility:
- Pass in PUC/ HSC/ 10+2 exam with minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology
- The candidates with SSLC/ PUC (Commerce, Science Other than Biology) qualification shall study for 3 years
