Medical Imaging is a technique to create images of various parts of the human body. This aims to help in diagnosis and treatment using several technologies such as radiology imaging techniques namely, X-ray cardiograph, Fluoroscopy, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Endoscopy, Elastography, and Tactile Imaging.

MRIs and CTs permit the physician to monitor the effectiveness of treatment and adjust conditions as required. The information given by medical imaging provides better care to patients.

The course of Medical Imaging Technology aims at providing students with a broad knowledge in biophysical and health sciences to enable them to acquire practical lessons in handling radio imaging equipment and procedures. It covers the essentials of theoretical studies and clinical practice needed to become a Radiology technician capable to perform diagnostic imaging examinations such as X-Rays, CT scan, MRI scan on patients. After completing the course, students will have a wide scope of jobs in private and Government hospitals, private clinics, radiology lab.
